It's Harry Potter time again, which means that the Harry Potter actors will once again be making the talk-show rounds. From the age of ten, they've been making me positively cringe. Mind you, they're fine. They're articulate, cultured, interesting human beings.
And that's precisely the problem.
I can't help but compare them to young American actors who were pampered from the crib and schooled in their luxury trailer by "tutors."
It makes me so, so proud.
When Daniel Radcliffe speaks of his theatre career, or Emma Watson of her studies at Brown University, I can't last three seconds without thinking of Hillary Duff telling Conan she changed the lyrics in My Generation to "I hope I don't die before I get old."
Because the old way was, like, way too negative and stuff.
